directly after porting in;
It's taking every fiber of her being to stay awake, stay conscious, but she closes her eyes through the teleporting to fight off the dizziness, and when she opens her eyes again, all she can really do is fall over on her side, one arm moving to brace against the floor as she tries to prop herself up, the other still clutching at her wound. She has half a mind to get the words out, where are we?
But she realizes very quickly that she doesn't need to ask.
She recognizes this room. He took them to Nonah--to Charlie. If Kasumi had any energy left in her, she'd have protested. Not here. She doesn't want Charlie and Ken and Bull to see how she'd screwed up, and worse, she doesn't want them to worry. But it's too late, and there's no energy; she's a fighter, but the fight's gone out of her. ]

As it is, it still scares the crap out of him. He jumps about three feet in the air from his spot on the couch, hand flying up, ready to start flinging magic or furniture or possibly both until he realizes who it is.
It's Peter. Peter and Kasumi and... that kid that Charlie had a rather unpleasant run-in with a while back, and the latter two are dripping blood onto the carpet.
The wizard is off the couch in an instant, moving first to Peter in case the man needs someone to steady him. Charlie doesn't know how far he's had to teleport to bring them here, but he knows what happens when Peter pushes too far. ] Ken's on his way down. How bad are they?

Stab wound to the abdomen. Clean, probably non-serrated knife.
Kid was shot in the gut. Bullet went through, it looks like.
So-- [ He drags his eyes up to meet Charlie's, gives a little shake of his head. ]

later on, healing up;
She awakes from every fit with a jolt, and then a wince of pain, and for a few moments she continues gasping for air as her hand clutches at her chest. Because the sounds of the gunshots are still ringing in her head, the sound of Jacob's voice telling her to leave, her own telling Glitch to leave, and she continues to worry about the ones she hasn't accounted for. Eventually, she might fall back asleep, but she doesn't even trust herself to be able to stay asleep tonight.
Come daytime, she forces herself out of bed and sits on the couch in the living room, curled up with her knees huddled to her chest as she stares, vacantly, at the bloodstains on the floor. She draws out a long, suffering sigh, but it sounds almost staccato because in all honesty, she's having trouble keeping it together. This entire experience is harrowing in and of itself, but it's also dredging up terrible memories for her, guilt and sorrow the likes of which she hasn't felt since the day Keiji died. ]

take my hand, peter
--it's like he's suddenly a child again, watching the most important person in his life leave him. It's only decades of experience that spurred him into action, forced him to shut off the part of his brain that was terrified and screaming, please, no, please, I'll do anything. But now that they're out of the woods, he feels all of it in full force, and it's almost overwhelming.
He doesn't stay in the house the entire time, but he stays in the area -- in part because he feels like he's intruding, somehow, and because he's never been the kinda guy to just sit there. Instead, he takes runs at odd intervals to rid himself of the energy making his hands shake. (Adrenaline, he tells himself, because he doesn't want to admit he was afraid.)
He's not sure how many times he's gone out and returned, but at the end of one of those times, he spots Kasumi on the couch. She looks-- pale. Ashen. It makes Peter feel a little sick because it hits so close to home, but he swallows it down.
What he wants to say to her is, "God, you scared the shit out of me." What he wants to say is, "Don't you fucking dare do that again." What he wants to say is, "Please, please, please--"
What he says instead is this: ]
Should you be down here?

To say he's been worried about her would be an understatement.
So he makes his way out to the living room, sitting silently next to her for a moment before looping an arm over her shoulder and pulling her gently into a hug. ]

When he feels his arms around her, all she can really do is squeeze her grip around herself, as though she could curl up any more than she already has, as though she could hide and metaphorically run away more than she already is. ]

[Ken's not as shaken as he could have been with not one but two lives having been on his shoulders. He's too tired to be. Overworking himself in the Dark Hour always meant one thing: you're going to be Tired by the end of the night, and you're going to be Sick by the next day. So guess who is Sick? This guy. He's not sneezing, coughing, or feverish, but he woke up with a headache and feels like his stomach is in knots. Eugh.
So he hands her a glass of juice and sits next to her with one of his own, and Koromaru follows, stuffing himself into the space between them.]

coming into consciousness after he's been healed.
He steps back in horror at it, unsure what to make of the vision and then he see's others. Peter, Hawke, Dipper, Mabel. Each one of them doing some more freakish than the other and each time he approaches they do the same as Kasumi: Shatter into a million pieces and blow away.
Whatever's going on frightens Glitch, not sure what to make of any of it and then when he goes to clutch at his head, he see's his hand cracking, breaking like the others and then-
He awakes. Not with a start or a jump, but groggily and a sharp burning pain near his stomach though dull it's still there. His head feels worse for wear too, as if he'd been clubbed over the head with a mallet. His vision hasn't come into focus but, he rolls his head around trying to see where he is and make out the foggy shapes he's seeing. ]

As it is, Peter's surprised at just how much he gives a shit -- so much so that he sticks around the poor, abused residence that is Nonah 005, with its half-wrecked furniture and blood-stained floors. He doesn't stay there the entire time, however, making excuses to come and go at odd hours.
At some point, he wanders into the room where Glitch is resting, sitting in a chair beside the kid's bed, his feet propped up on the edge of the mattress. One of his trips out of the house had been to grab his Walkman, blasting music into his head to forget how fucking close he had been to losing both Kasumi and Glitch in one fell swoop. He notices Glitch stirring and sets the device on the nightstand, headphones and all. ]
Hey, take it easy, kid. [ He says it softly, because while Ken might have healed him, blood loss is just as bad as a hangover. ] Don't move around too much.

ONLY BOARD GAMES NOW
But for now they're going to play... boardgames?? Someone suggested it. So Ken carries down the boxes of games Peter gave him for his birthday and sets them on the table.]
Here.

Wow. These are all ancient.
[ And then she opens one of the board games' boxes. ]
And you play on actual boards?
[ Look. Everything is holographic in space, okay. ]
for charwin? idk;
-- Mistake number one.
Because holy shit, now that he has a moment to let it soak in, that was terrifying.
He's still scrubbing blood from his hands in the bathroom attached to Glitch's room. It washes off of the sleeves of his jacket readily enough, but he figures his shirt's a lost cause, stained and still slightly tacky. The water turns a brackish pink as it runs down the drain (he tries very hard not to realize that it's Kasumi's and Glitch's blood that he's washing off), and he's glad he no longer gags at the smell of blood, like he did when he was a kid. Going on jobs with the Ravagers meant he got over that little quirk real fast.
There was a reason the Ravagers rarely fraternized with anyone outside of their merry band of misfits. At least with the Ravagers, you knew the likelihood of their sticking around was pretty slim. You were friendly enough, close enough to make the team work, but not so much that the loss of them would hurt altogether much. With others, you get attached. You leave yourself open. You leave yourself vulnerable.
It's about now that he really wishes he hadn't brought himself here, of all places. Charlie Goddamn Maxwell's house. He was doing so well avoiding the guy, ever since the wizard went nuts on him. That Peter's somehow convinced himself to stick around seems to be Mistake Number Two.
Mistake Number Three comes in the form of exiting Glitch's bedroom; the teen isn't likely to wake up any time soon, and while a part of him wants to sit at the edge of the bed and watch him like a hawk, he wants to check in on Kasumi, too, afraid that if he doesn't, she'll somehow disappear. That it's not too far out of the realm of possibility, given the types of things he's seen Kasumi do, is just as worrying. It's when he steps into the hallway that he bumps into Charlie Goddamn Maxwell, in the flesh.
And freezes. This time of his own accord, at least.
He swallows around a lump in his throat, suddenly nervous, and says the first thing to come to mind, which is this: ]
--Sorry about the blood. On the floor, I mean. I can clean it up.
[ #nailedit. ]
who the hell is charwin
That was probably by Peter's own design, but he certainly couldn't blame the guy.
So when they run into each other- quite literally- it doesn't surprise him that the awkwardness is practically tangible. ]
Don't worry about it. I'll deal with it somehow.

for the six year old;
The worst.
So it's not surprising that after the first couple of hours of sitting around, waiting for Glitch and Kasumi to return to the land of the conscious and worried, Peter decides he needs to do something. Apparently that means heading out and popping over to the Porter. (Peter is a teleporter, himself, but after the jumps he made today, he's not sure if he can manage another long distance trip on his own like that. Not without some rest, first.) Once back in Heropa, he pops home, changes out of his bloodied clothes (his shirt goes immediately in the trash, but he makes a mental note to burn it instead.) As an afterthought, he hooks his Walkman onto his belt and pockets his extra mix tape. Having them on hand helps his nerves, if nothing else.
Another couple of hops, and he's back in Nonah, wandering back into Ken and Charlie and the Iron Bull's place. (He's lucky that Charlie has modified his wards to admit him; he doesn't need a face full of coffee table on top of everything else, today.) He pauses when he sees Ken still on the living room couch, and he trudges over, plopping down in another chair.
Peter frowns, trying to think of the best way to ask, What the hell was all of that, anyway? Instead he looks over the kid, concerned. He looks as exhausted as Peter feels. ]
How you holdin' up, kid?
who you callin' six
In all honesty, he's pretty shaken, too. The last two times he was around someone bleeding that much, they didn't make it. One of them was his mother. He hates seeing the blood, and part of why he doesn't want to move is because he thinks he might get sick if he does. The smell is way too strong and he's way too tired, and the dread that Kasumi and Glitch might not wake up is heavy.
But he sits up a little straighter when Peter sits down beside him, blinking grogginess out of his eyes.] 'M okay. It just gets me tired to cast so many spells at once... I'm sorry it startled you.

The morning after...the injuries had been healed
He's turned on the tv on one of the major news channel's and the story they're focusing on is...great, Archangel. The text streaming along the bottom is "A Devil's fall. Heinous vigilantes base of operations raided," or something to that affect. The woman on the news reading the story, all powdered and made over begins talking, retelling the story about how "brave" SWAT members found Archangel's head quarters and stormed the place. They bring up that the leader was caught along with two others but names would not be disclosed at this point.It goes further, the woman saying that this may bring new hope to the city now that dangerous imPorts have been more or less ousted from their rathole and a search for the other members is underway.
Glitch just sits there fuming, clenching the remote in his hand, sparks of electricity coming off his body. He wants to hurl this remote through the screen but controls himself. ]
Sacks of shit. We should've just let the whole city burn itself down.
[ His words are made in anger and impulse, but this? He knows his intentions weren't entirely pure in the group but at least they were stopping actual horrible people. It just makes him sick. ]

You know that would only make things worse. I know things are bad, but...
[ There is no "but." Things are just bad. And there isn't much of a point in trying to convince Glitch otherwise; he's a smart kid. ]

walks in days late with a first aid kit the size of cleveland - aka after the action
[So uh. He sort of slams into the room with all the grace and subtlety of his namesake. The poor door barely stands a chance. A gym bag is slug over one huge shoulder, and is struggling to contain all of the bandaids and painkillers and whatever else he ran into in the First Aid Aisle.]
[There's blood on the floor, and more of it in the air, if the smell is any indication. More people around than usual, and not all of them the right people for the house. They're not unfamiliar, and none of the ones in his immediate view are attacking. Okay then.]
[The big qunari's nostrils flare, and he turns to face the door behind him, slinging off the bag and extending it out behind his back. Putting himself pretty much in the line of potential assault.]
