Well, it was voluntary. They weren't gonna do more than protect me if I said no. I had some personal reasons to do it at first, but now, it's more like someone's gotta do it. Everyone else is in high school, too.

Yeah, he knows. He's the chairman, and he's one of the people who was involved in the research about these things. They're the ones who designed the Evokers so we can summon our Persona safely.

Well, someone had to, like I said. He asked me to.

And, well, Nemesis? She has attack skills, too. The healing spell I used is called Diarama, but she can use electricity and... Hama? We call them light skills but it's kind of like purification.

Oh, but I use a weapon too. I usually fight with a spear.

Well, the first is that none of us are trained to use any, I think. I taught myself how to use the spear using videos online and a brush I stole at the dorm.

And second... can you imagine what would happen if someone grabbed the wrong gun to summon their Persona?

[To illustrate his point, he lifts up his Evoker, pressing it to his temple again.] Pow.

Back home, I'm a lot smaller than most of the enemies we fight. I'm a lot smaller than most people I'll meet here, too. I asked him if we can spar sometimes for that reason. I've asked a couple other people for other reasons, too. Just in case.

Well, I can't land a hit on Mr Bull yet if he wasn't holding back, but I'm getting the hang of it. I can move faster here than I did back home and that's not as easy to control as I thought it might be. I used to mess up when to start slowing down so I slammed into buildings a few times.

I taught myself how to fight a couple years back so it's different, being taught by someone else. I think it's helped.

Um, if you don't mind, that would actually be really great! Like I said, I've had a few people helping me, too, but... well, I do want to learn from as many people as I can. It's my best tactic since I don't have any formal training.

Well that's necessary for survival, isn't it? If my senpais stuck to all the rules of their sport during battle, nobody would be alive still.
