As off-putting as that suggestion sounded, Daryl did actually trust Dooku enough to work with him. That much was obvious from where they were currently standing. But he didn't like secrets in a group he was part of. He didn't like things that could cause problems because not enough people knew about it. He didn't like the stuff that could hurt the group going unknown.
His ire, however, had lowered to the point he was speaking mostly civilly and with only a little huffiness.
