November Catch All-Log
WHO: Locus + Anyone
WHERE: Heropa, Marutia Falls
WHEN: Throughout November
WHAT: Big bad mercenary making poor life decisions.
WARNINGS: Locus being a creeper, more than likely.
i. Heropa - The Lucky Cat Cafe
It's no surprise that the small shop becomes a scheduled stop for the mercenary when he finds himself in Heropa. He orders his usual peppermint tea and moves out of the way. The place is fairly packed which has him heading toward the back to wait for his order when a child suddenly runs his way with their parent at their heels, Locus quickly moves out of the way only to run into someone behind him.
"Excuse me," he turns to apologize
ii. Marutia Falls - Fate Night Club
It wasn't hard finding the active gambling, drug and sex-work circuit in his new city of residence. At first, it was merely useful information to have on hand, something he'd never thought he'd use after deciding to shed his life as a mercenary, and yet life had a way of dragging you back down the gutter with or without your consent. That's how Locus ended up in an underground gambling ring looking for a name. He didn't find it, but after breaking a few wrists he was pointed in the direction of a well known informant that could help him find it, and for a hefty price Locus had been given a place and time, which was how he ended up in front of a night club with "Fate" spelled out in decorative letters.
With a grim face, Locus goes inside. It's loud and filled with people. Everything he dislikes. Still, he moves deeper into the crowd that generally moves around the 6'4 man. For those that try to talk to him, Locus simply ignores them until he seats himself at the end of the bar where he was told the informant would find him after ordering a specific drink at an exact time.
The bartender turns his way after he sits down, but he postpones his order until the specified time. When it finally comes he calls him over and orders the specified drink with a straight face. The bartender raises an eyebrow at him but wisely keeps his mouth shut and moves to prepare it while Locus turns to gauge the person beside him. Was this the informant then? Instead of being subtle about it, Locus opens with:
"Are you here for someone?"
Sadly, it comes out like a pick-up line, even worse he doesn't realize how it sounds, and just to add icing to the cake the bartender sets this drink down in front of him at that moment.
iii. Heropa - Streets
Late at night Locus is moving through the streets of Heropa suited up in his full armour. He's heading for the Xavier School for imports but the campus is still a ways away when he hears a scream suddenly pierce the night. He turns towards the dark alley it came from and stops in his tracks.
"......"
Does he go and investigate, or ignore it and continue with his mission? For once, he's unsure how to proceed. Instincts tell him to continue with his mission, but something stops him in his tracks.
iv. Wild Card
Open to any location and scenario.

You have him there. But it's not what you're making it out to be! But then again, he can't exactly tell her what he's here for, so he lays down the payment for the drink plus a tip. It's at times like these that he remembers why Felix is an asset.
"I don't."
Is all he says as he stands up to leave. The informant clearly isn't here right now, and Locus has no desire to wait for him. He's sure he has ways of finding out someone's looking for him. He'll come tomorrow night, but for now, he's done.

"Then what were you here for?" she asks simply in one last attempt to find some context for his actions. "And do you have a name?"
no subject
"Castille." He answers, but only so he can ask:
"You?"
no subject
"Tex," she answers and turns back fully towards the bar. "Don't trip on your way out, Castille."
no subject
"I won't."
Tex. He doesn't recognize the name, but he'll remember it, and her. With those parting words, he turns his back to her and walks out of the bar.
