[The orange prison uniform made the back of his neck itch.

Even if Lucifer were the kind of angel to give in to the weakness of the flesh and scratch (he wasn't) a pair of handcuffs kept his hands attached to the centre of the table. His powers had shown no sign of returning, but it seemed they were taking no chances with him.

He was alone for the moment, except for the people he knew were somewhere on the other side of that large mirror. To look at the calm expression on his face, you might think he was here of his own volition. Certainly he didn't appear at all bothered by the charges he was being threatened with.

This was, his attitude seemed to say, a temporary diversion from his other plans.]
